HP/Poly is discontinuing many of its traditional products!
Breaking News – HP, formerly Poly and Plantronics, will discontinue many of its traditional products. These were set to EOL (End-of-Life).
Among other things, many systems that were previously used in air traffic control and control centres, for example, will be discontinued. These include the CA22 wireless DECT system (item number Poly 217100-02 or HP 8K773AA#ABB), various SHS PTT adapters and some headsets from the HW series.
The CA22 is no longer in production. These were set to EOL (end-of-life). However, there are apparently still some in stock that can be ordered or called off until the end of the year or until the end of availability.
So if you still need devices for your control centre or your current projects, you should act quickly. Please clarify your requirements and get in touch with us. We look forward to receiving your enquiry!
We can already offer you some alternatives for future projects.
Coming soon:
Together with our long-standing partner JPL, we will soon be offering a newly developed DECT PTT system called Scout 3100. During development, care was taken to ensure that the system can be integrated 1:1 into control centre desks that are already equipped with CA12 or CA22, so that seamless operation is possible.
The new base station will have an analogue RJ45 and a digital USB interface. Like the CA22, the Scout 3100 will also have an additional compartment for charging a spare battery. The PTT handset will have a QD connector that is compatible with all Poly and JPL headsets.
The new cordless DECT PTT headset amplifier is ideal for secure, mission-critical calls, for example in the areas of public safety, air traffic control, radio services and training simulations.
We also have alternatives for the various SHS cables with Poly QD that are no longer available!
