In the emergency call centre or in the air traffic control area for air traffic control, transmit buttons must be very ergonomically designed to ensure 100% comfort and durability in day-to-day use. The new JPL Scout 1200 & Scout 1300 push-to-talk transmit buttons with volume control have been developed for applications in control centres, emergency services, command and control centres, rescue services, air traffic control management, airport control towers, military applications and many more.
The button is supplied with a Poly/Plantronics or Jabra QD connector. This means that our complete and varied headset programme can be used. Digital connectors such as USB-A and USB-C as well as analogue connectors such as PJ7, Lemosa and many more are available for connection to your interface. Please enquire for your individual offer!
PTT-Adapter HS1 analogue
Ergonomic pistol grip PTT transmit button adapter equipped with QD connector. This PTT base can therefore be combined with any headset with a QD connector.
For use in control centres, for emergency calls, for dispatchers or operators of air traffic control centres, or in air traffic control towers for civil and military applications.
With belt clip, lanyard and volume control. Equipped with PJ7 connector (also known as prong plug connector or FAA connector), other analogue and digital connectors also available on request.
PTT Button Adapter Imtradex PTT13 & PTT13 USB
The ergonomic pistol-grip design of the transmit button sits perfectly in the hand, the robust housing allows the user to use it for a long time, we attach great importance to the durable design of the switching elements, and a practical belt clip and wrist strap are the ideal addition and safety feature for everyday use.
Our headset base with PTT13 transmit button is also available in a digital version with USB connector. The cable is equipped with a QD connector so that any telephone headset, e.g. from Imtradex, Jabra, Plantronics, Sennheiser or JPL, can be combined with it.
PTT button adapter Imtradex PTT19 & PTT19 USB
The robust housing allows the user to work under heavy loads, very durable design of the switching elements with a mechanical pressure point, the practical belt clip makes it easier to use on a daily basis.
Our headset base with PTT19 transmit button is also available in a digital version with USB connector. The cable is equipped with a QD connector so that any telephone headset, e.g. from Imtradex, Jabra, Plantronics, Sennheiser or JPL, can be combined with it.
Pistol-grip-PTT-Adapter Plantronics (mostly EOL)
The original pistol grip PTT classic from Plantronics / Poly has proven itself for decades in air traffic control, emergency call centres and control centres.
Various transmit button adapter cables for analogue and digital interfaces available. The adapters differ in various adaptations and connector variants. The standard versions are mainly equipped with Plantronics QD plugs.
- Adapter with PJ7- resp. FAA-Jack named e.g. SHS1890-10, SHS1890-15, SHS1890-25 (Final number depending on the cable length in inches). There are also variants with the designations SHS2310-10, SHS2310-15 and SHS2310-25.
- Adapters with Lemosa plug FGG-2B-310 plug for conventional operation (1-channel) are called SHS 2470-01, SHS 2470-02, SHS 2470-03, SHS 2470-04, SHS 2470-05, SHS 2470-06, SHS 2470-07, SHS 2470-08. Here, the final number provides information about various resistance values that are built into the Lemo plug for headset recognition.
- Other adapters with Lemosa plug FGG-2B-310 plug for 1-channel operation are SHS2177-01, SHS2177-02, SHS2177-03, SHS2177-04. Here, the end number depends on the respective plug assignment. Also SHS 2606-01, SHS 2606-02, SHS 2606-03.
- Adapters with USB plug are called SHS2355-11 and SHS2626-11.
Plantronics pistol grip transmit button adapter for splitting or dual channel operation (mostly EOL)
The original pistol grip PTT classic from Plantronics / Poly has proven itself for decades in air traffic control, emergency call centres and control centres.
Various transmit button adapter cables for analogue and digital interfaces available. The adapters differ in various adaptations and plug variants. Special versions with special round connector TA6FLX for connecting special double-sided headsets for splitting operation (dual channel).
Adapters with Lemosa plug FGG-2B-310 plug for splitting or dual channel operation (2-channel) are called SHS2383-01, SHS2383-02, SHS2383-03, SHS2383-04. The end number depends on the resistance value installed in the Lemo plug for the headset identification. There are also variants with the designations SHS2005-01, SHS2005-02, SHS2005-03, SHS2005-04, SHS2005-05 (final number also depends on the resistance value).
Other adapters with Lemosa plug FGG-2B-310 plug for splitting or dual channel operation (2-channel) are called SHS2431-01 and SHS2431-02.
- Adapters with USB plug are called SHS2371-11 (splitting mode or dual channel).
Adapter cable AK3 USB without PTT function
The adapter cable is equipped with a USB plug and a wiring box with the electronics. It can be used whenever the PTT is triggered by other means, e.g. by foot switch, at the control centre desk or on the monitor. Of course, it can also be used if no PTT needs to be used at all, e.g. for telephony applications in the control centre segment. The cable is equipped with a QD connector for combination with telephone headsets. Alternatively, our other USB telephone adapter cables can also be used for telephony.
Adapter cable AK2 USB without PTT function
The adapter cable is equipped with a USB plug and a wiring box with the electronics. It has an 8-pin RJ45 western plug for use with the Plantronics CA12 WL-DECT wireless headset station. This means that the CA12 can also be used for digital applications with a USB connection.
USB-Adapter cable Plantronics SSP2468-11 with PTT-function
The adapter cable is equipped with a USB plug and a wiring box with the matching electronics. It has an 8-pin RJ45 western plug for use with the Plantronics CA12 wireless headset station. This means that the CA12 can also be used for digital applications with a USB connection.
Base station with wireless PTT-Adapter
Brandnew: JPL Scout 3100 1-Channel
This is a replacement product for the Plantronics CA22, CA12, and Imtradex WL-DECT models, which have been tried and tested in control centers for many years. It is a wireless headset system with PTT transmit button function for radio applications.
The JPL Scout 3100 is a wireless PTT DECT system that, like the Poly CA22 SC, is single-channel, meaning that the user hears a signal, e.g., telephone or radio, through the headset speaker, which is reproduced on one or both sides (monaural or binaural).
The Scout 3100 base station has a charging compartment for the handheld unit with a large pistol grip transmit button. Any headset can be connected via the QD (Quick Disconnect) connector. The station not only enables wireless telephony, but also radio communication with a wireless transmit button function. A second battery is included in the scope of delivery, which is charged in the charging station parallel to the handset. This ensures round-the-clock operation seven days a week. In short: the headset is always ready for use around the clock. This is an important aid in facilitating communication, especially in the event of a disaster.
The JPL Scout 3100 has an analog RJ45 connection socket, for which we can supply various analog connection cables with plugs, such as FAA/PJ7, segment plugs, or Lemosa. In addition, it is equipped with a USB micro socket, so that connection to a digital interface is possible using a USB micro to USB-A adapter cable.
