Speaker microphones / RSM
remote loudspeaker microphones for radio equipment
Our handheld units, also known as remote speaker mics or RSM for short, make working with your radio considerably easier. The fist microphones can be attached to clothing (e.g. on the shoulder or collar) using a clip.
This ensures good audibility, as the distance to the ear is relatively small. The radio channel is activated at the touch of the PTT transmit button. Here, too, the distance to the mouth is relatively small, so that speech can be transmitted clearly. For even better audibility, most of our monophones are also equipped with a 3.5 mm jack socket for connecting earphones or headphones.
However, in most cases, this is no substitute for a good headset. That is why most of our professional handheld monophones are also equipped with a Nexus jack for connecting a headset. Depending on the application, you can select the headset that best suits your needs. This ensures even better voice transmission.
Please select from the following handheld monophones:
RSM for two-way-radios
RSM Remote Speaker Mic Titan MM20 / MMW20
Handheld unit with microphone and loudspeaker with volume control for radio devices. The handheld monophone has a front and side button for activating the radio device. The handheld monophone is equipped with a Nexus socket for connecting various optional headsets. Standard headphones can also be connected via the existing 3.5 mm jack socket. The MMW20 version can be used with various optional external PTT transmit buttons. E.g. for use on a motorbike with handlebar PTT.
RSM Remote Speaker Mic Titan MM50
Very robust handheld unit with large round front transmit button, side transmit button, microphone and loudspeaker with volume control for radio devices. The handheld monophone is equipped with a Nexus socket for connecting various optional headsets. Furthermore, standard headphones can be connected via the existing 3.5 mm jack socket. A version with a Bluetooth module is also planned, which will allow the handheld monophone to be combined with a smartphone.
Special RSM
Tactical PTT transmit button with built-in microphone
Consisting of a radio connection and a durable PU cable to a tactical PTT unit with built-in microphone. The large surface button makes operation easy. It can also be operated with gloves, under clothing or with the elbow. Protection class IP67!
The military-standard NEXUS socket with quick-release fastener allows various headsets to be connected for full communication. In situations where the headset is not required, it can be disconnected from the Nexus socket. A simple earpiece can be connected either to the 3.5 mm socket on the side or via the Nexus socket. The internal circuits detect that a pure receiver has been connected and activate the built-in microphone circuit. The user can now press the PTT button on the radio and speak directly into the tactical PTT, so that it functions like a conventional speaker microphone.
RSM Remote Speaker Mic Titan MM50-TAC
Control box/remote speaker microphone in one. The MM50-TAC alone can function as a standard speaker microphone with two large PTT buttons, volume buttons and an emergency call button, and also features a 3.5 mm earpiece jack. The MM50-TAC has an 8-pin push-pull connector to which the IE2-TAC headset is connected. When the IE2-TAC is connected to the MM50-TAC, the MM50-TAC acts as a control unit with two control buttons on the top that can be used to activate/deactivate the ambient sound perception in the IE2-TAC headset and adjust the volume of the ambient sound in 5 levels.
