BUDDY CHAT – Bluetooth hands-free kit for 2 or 3 participants (NOT EXPANDABLE)
The new revolutionary Buddy Chat series is a full-duplex intercom Bluetooth system that allows hands-free communication up to 1,000 metres. There is no need to press a PTT transmit button like with normal radios or walkie-talkies. Just start talking anytime! Easy to install on any type of helmet or the optional single ear hook, the Buddy Chat is extremely versatile.

The Buddy Chat with its wide range of mounts is perfect for crane and construction workers, forestry workers and all machine operators. The system is equipped with noise cancellation (DSP) to enable use even in noisy environments without compromising on voice quality.

The Buddy Chat Bluetooth hands-free device is water- and dust-resistant and has a talk time of up to 10 hours. Of course, all Bluetooth-enabled mobile phones can be connected to the Buddy Chat, enabling hands-free telephony.

Noise-cancelling features
Even in the most difficult environmental conditions, noise cancellation (DSP) ensures that communication is always optimal and clear, and that background noise is filtered out. Flawless communication always means added safety. Selective microphone muting is also integrated. This allows the user to give voice commands while muting the background noise of the other participants in the conversation.

Please note: Navigation and listening to music are not possible!

Our BuddyChats can only be used for talking to each other and making phone calls. It is not possible to use the voice output from your navigation system or listen to music. If you absolutely need these functions, we recommend our ROAMEEs Supertooth headsets. However, only a maximum of 2 participants can communicate with each other here.

With the Intercom Bluetooth system, you can communicate hands-free at a range of up to 1,000 metres. In practice, this means several hundred metres with unobstructed line of sight. Whether used in forestry, climbing, at events, by security services, in sports stadiums, during a regatta from boat to boat, on ships, while cycling, skiing, horse riding or shooting sports – the possible uses of Buddy Chat are almost limitless.

No talk button – your hands remain free
Unlike conventional walkie-talkies or radios, you can always talk without having to press a transmit button.

High protection class expands range of applications
The headsets are all waterproof and dustproof. The high protection class also allows them to be used in harsh industrial environments. Buddy Chat lets users stand or work in the rain.

Universally applicable
Thanks to its universal mounting system, Buddy-Chat can be attached to almost all common helmet types. The system is ready for use in just a few simple steps. An optional single ear hook opens up further areas of application. The headset can be worn on either the left or right side.

Open system
Another advantage of Buddy Chat is that users can integrate their mobile phones via Bluetooth. This means that not only can they communicate within the system, but they can also take normal phone calls. With Buddy Chat DUO, a smartphone can be connected to each headset via Bluetooth, while with the TRIO system, connectivity with a smartphone is only possible with the master module.

Microphone mute
The microphone mute function is useful, for example, for receiving voice commands only.

Long battery life for the entire working day
The Buddy Chat system can be fully charged within 2 hours. The battery capacity is equivalent to approximately 10 hours of continuous conversation. The standby time is a full 1,000 hours.
